A study done by UC San Francisco studied more than 200,000 women and found that women whose breasts are composed of more glandular tissue opposed to fatty tissue have a higher risk of breast cancer. Breast density was found to impact cancer risk more than previously thought factors like obesity, family history and later-in-life childbirth.
